I am going to call them Monday , maybe they will give me one since they sent the wrong cam.

It doesn't have to be original I just need one. I got a new cam for my 360 magnum I am rebuilding and hughes sent me a long snout cam when it should of been a short snout cam.

I have a 71 413 that has the dished low compression pistons, I want to replace them with standard size flat top pistons, my motor has only 67,000 miles on it and the cylinders are in great shape. Thanks

Ok, time for a stupid question. Does that mean my motor has a different starter than other RBs?

So you are saying, that my motor when running turns counter clockwise?

I just turned the crank clockwise and the cam turns counter clockwise.

Doesn't the motor turn clockwise when you are looking at the front of it? So, crank turns clockwise and cam counter clockwise?

Did you have the same gears in your motor?

I have been slowly taking apart my 413, I have 906 heads, I am going to get different pistons, different intake and camshaft. I took the timing cover off yesterday, I have a timing gear not a chain, I want to put a different cam in but I want to keep the timing gears. There is no problem doing...

Nice, I plan on getting one too and doing it myself. Nothing like doing it your self.
