Do you drop steering column to install brake pushrod? 67 belvedere

I’m working on my ‘67 Belvedere Convertible. I did find the solution; bought some stubby ratcheting wrenches. They make the job so much less frustrating. If you need to replace a brake light switch on one of these cars, do yourself a favor and pick up a set BEFORE you start. Your knuckles...

Do you drop steering column to install brake pushrod? 67 belvedere

I will buy some ratcheting combo wrenches and give those a try. I feel better having walked away and mowing the grass . The switch is definitely bad; the plunger is pushing the guts out the back of the switch housing.

Do you drop steering column to install brake pushrod? 67 belvedere

I’m going through this (brake light switch) right now and am so frustrated, I’m ready to throw S**t and break things. This is the biggest PITA I have dealt with on this car; all for a $2 part. I have tried everything, except dropping the column. I have a column shifter, so I guess that damn...

    Differences between 1967 and 1968-later B-body armrests?

My 67 Belvedere convertible has 9” with chrome base. It may be a situation where the factory used whichever size was available.

WTB Rear Interior Panels for 67 B Body

I am in need of both rear plastic panels for a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere convertible; I figure any B Body from 1966 to 1970 will do. The panels need to be in good driver quality condition (no cracks or broken pieces). The color doesn't matter, but I would like to have the interior lights...

    Fuel Sending Unit

Ditto regarding Spectra. Out of the box, mine would not register more than half a tank when full. I purchased because they were supposed to be "the best"; sorely disappointed.

My 1967 Belvedere Convertible Plans and Restoration (aka - Mad Scientist Build)

Looking great! Finished the body and paint on my 67 convertible last summer. Like you, did it all myself. Just a heads up...you are nearing the most time-consuming, patience-testing part of the project: THE PAINT PREP. The hours of sanding, spraying, sanding, more sanding, spraying...

    Alternator Bracket Question

Well, once again, I guess I am going to experiment to figure this out on my own; twenty-six views and not one insight. Like a good member, I will post my experience to help others.

    Dakota Headers

After 90-plus views and no insight, I decided to do some experimenting with some 92-93 Dakota manifolds and check for clearance. I quickly realized that the passenger side manifold will work without issues, so I assume the same holds true for the shorty headers. As expected, the driver's side...
