thanks for the quick response guys. if no body else chimes in I guess I'll pass on the seat leave it for someone with an e-body. I might get it if it was just an attachment issue but not if the floor pan is different.
I need a rear seat for my 69 road runner. I can get a good deal on a 1970 challenger rear seat in good condition. I was wondering if the seat frames are similar enough that I could ether lightly modify or directly set in?

Yea for sure. the only thing I'm a little worried doing is the front window seal and the chrome . Finals are finishing soon and I have a boxes of goodies coming in the mail, 3 inch dual exhaust system. So Im going to be wrenching and welding away to get her on the road.
The 727 turned into a lump of aluminum but I pulled the 383 out and still have it . It's in the bushes I don't like looking at it. The block may still be good but I bet all the fasteners are rusted and seized .its nice to have the original parts but I hope to not have to sell the car.
