I’ll try and get some answers on this later in the week, likely won’t have the car out again before Friday unfortunately.

Was really hot the other day, 35 or more probly. But a couple days later back down below 30 and still ran up to 220.

Thermostat I’m not sure on, haven’t had it out to check. I want to say the previous owner said he installed a 190 in it but I could be wrong. What would you consider concerning for a high temp when idling? Maybe I’m over thinking things.

The hottest I’ve seen it go is about 220 sitting idling. Once cruising it’s usually riding in the 180 range.

Is there any useable information on the tag? It does have the 4 gauge cluster in it, I’m kind of partial to it over the American cluster.

Is there many differences between the Canadian and American cars? I know of a few but I find it’s always hard to find Canadian specific information, or maybe I’m looking in the wrong places.

Yes there is a tag on the fender, unfortunately it looks like someone sanded it at some point and there doesn’t appear to be much left on it. I’ll try and snap a picture of it tomorrow and post it here.

That would be cool, they look awesome. The car did come with what I’m assuming is the original single 4bbl intake and carb I believe. That cross ram would look cool under the hood, I’d love to put a super stick hood on it at some point as well. Big plans, or at least dreams for the car anyways.

I like the 413, but still not sure if it makes sense to build off of it or maybe look for a 440. Main goal with the car is just...

Thanks! A local guy had mentioned the extra water jackets in the rv heads being possibly blocked off and causing a cooling issue. The car runs cool until you sit for a minute or get into some slower cruising. I don’t have an updated picture but the rad has been switched out to an aluminum unit...
