popping if the carb is fat at idle--could be not enough air past the transfer slots--if this is the case you can drill each of the throttle plates .125 hole and set transfer slot to about .025 on the front and back--re-instal and set idle speed and then mixture screws--this has always worked...

headers ordered a new pitman arm ---installing the pass. side plugs was another adventure I would much rather avoid but it is done---at least the header bolts are easy to get at--Mike

Makes you wonder what the factory used ?--you know they just installed it and it worked--I took a piece back to Joe Suchy and there is a definite difference in the thickness--scared to buy some more unless I can be sure it fits---Mike
