Hello. Im in search of a front cross member for 1962-65 factory v8 car. I have a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere with a slant 6 looking to install a 318. Looking for as local as possible to central New Jesey. thank you
So is it safe to say I can swap over the 904 column shift valve body to the 727 pushbutton Trans and everything should work accordingly. Or is the single action of the column not enough to engage it into park?
The plan at this point is put the 65 904 valve body on the 62 727 trans. I'm assuming the cables will line up given the identical length between transmissions. The driveshaft is not an issue. I have a compatible driveshaft in my car. Thanks for the info! This forum is great!
My car is an original 65 slant six 904 and has the same ball and trunion style drive shaft. Valve body sounds like a project. If that's the only way I may think of selling it and looking for a correct trans. But then again that may prove to be just as difficult
Hello, I recently purchased a 727 push button trans and I'm in the plan of attack stage for the installation. I have a 65 Belvedere II with a slant and a 904 column shift. My new acquisition is a 318 backed by a 62 push button trans. My question is what is required for retaining the factory...
I recently pulled my father in laws 225 slant and 904 trans. It ran when pulled but I'm unsure of the mileage. It will come complete with rad shroud and fan. It's all there from air cleaner to pan. Looking for $250 or best offer.
