65hemi, the radio is a great idea as a good ignition power source for the relay. I am also going to try test the cigarette lighter, because I never use that. Yatzee I like the oil pressure ground idea, I'm also going to do that. So besides the radio and cig lighter any other good ignition...
Hey guys, where can I tap into a good 12v source for wiring an electric fuel pump. I realy don't want to wire it through a toggle switch. I'd like to run it off the ignition key. Thanks.
Shorthorse, that's kind of what I was thinking. Brown, blue/white tracer, and dark blue to the voltage regulator all get tied together. Then from there to my coil. Wiring just scares the hell out of me. Don't want melted wires or fires under the dash. Thanks.
So take the brown wire that's only got power when the key is in the start position, and spilce it with the blue/white tracer wire that is on in the run position only and run that to my Dist. Now that leaves the solid blue wire going to my voltage regulator not connected to anything. Because the...
Ok guys I have a 383 in my 66 sat. Installed a DUI HEI Dist. Ran great on the dyno. Now the motor's in the car, and now I have to find out what wire to use for the HEI. I was told to use the single wire (brown) coming into the ballist resistor, and tuck the other two away. Now the problem is...
I have a set of black Mopar Performance valve covers for sale. Got them for my 383, but used my M/T instead. Had them mounted on the engine but never ran. In very good shape. A little paint chipping around the bolt holes. Have pics on my phone that I can send. $60.00 plus actual shipping...
I have a 383-727TF for sale. They came out of a 68 Chrysler. The car belonged to my grandparents, and in the early 70s the car was wrecked. So in the barn it went and sat there ever since. About four years ago my dad and I pulled the motor and trans out thinking that I would have them rebuilt...
Looking to buy a Milodon oil pan & pickup for my 383 66 Satellite. With some aftermarket oil pans I hear that I might have to cut the K member to get them to fit. I'm looking at the Milodon 31010. Just wondering if this is will work with out cutting anything.
Thanks 66plymouth
