    1968 Charger R/T Hemi H.T.

What’s up with the fender tag? It almost looks like it’s mounted to a separate piece of metal. Awesome car AND options

    1967 Coronet R/T exterior trim

We tried to make the others work by bending and grinding. Just not happy. These are originals eventually found and re chromed by Advanced. I painted them. Surrounds, trunk and taillights were fun to do too. But had very nice originals to work with.

Did 67 R/T's have sail panel boards?

I recall on my dads car which had them and also the knockouts if you had the lights.

Is 4.5 months prior to car production considered date code correct for engine block?

Here’s my dad’s 67 Coronet. Seems really early. First year for the 440HP so?

Can the torsion bar go in wrong?

Wow I honestly had no idea of the risk of adjusting with weight on. Did my dad’s car a couple times. 30yr auto body guy. NOTED!

    Painted drums...

Had traces of red paint on my dad’s 67 RT drums. When there’s almost 60yrs of what-ifs hard to say if it was there. Car was built with simulated mag hubcaps so nothing woulda showed.

    New (to me) B-Body Score.....

Beautiful car! Out of curiosity does it have the paint inspection stamp on the passenger side inner apron? This was supposedly a Lynch Road thing only?

    Build date

My dad’s 67 R/T has a 922 (Sep 22,66) prod date and was delivered May 22, 1967. Sold new at Hodges Dodge. I always wondered why so long? Supposedly bought off the showroom floor. Did they leave it there to show off the new for 67 R/T? Not popular car?

Restore OEM Bumpers or Buy New

Sometimes you have your answer before even asking the question. Find a reputable chromer and do yours. Everyone always shuts up about the price when they are pretty. You complain every time you look at it after cheaping out.

    Dropped a small Allen key.

This reminds me of when I dropped a 1/4” Allen wrench down the fuel pump hole in the 440. I was battling a stuck fuel pump pushrod (machined too big and was stuck in the block) and was using the wrench as a lever to try and free up the push rod when I slipped. The sound of that wrench falling...

    K member stiffening

For what most of us do with these cars is it really worth it? I mean the engineers were pretty good back then. Most k members lasted 60yrs without cracking. If your right there and have a welder have at it. Won’t hurt anything.

One dim low beam and faintly glowing highbeams

67 RT with new wiring except dash harness. Original headlight switch-new high beam switch. Bulbs are original or very old replacments. During this years Woodward Cruise I noticed the passenger side low beam was dim. The drivers side was normal brightness but the high beam filaments had a faint...
