I put a Torker on my 383 Barracuda, 3.55 gears automatic and headers only. It was a dog because all my normal driving was about 3000 rpm in town. For a stock type engine a factory dual plane was best. This was in 1975.
Solder build up inside limits inside fin heat transfer. 1 repair is probably OK or not noticeable. After too many repairs the hot heat will not work, defrost would still work, just takes longer.
Ever time the heater core is repaired, it will lose about 20 percent of it heat. Needs a new heater core. 50 to 75 dollars at Rock Auto, plus shipping.

If you start a new thread, you should get some replies. As it stands, you have had none. It only bothers me in that you have a car problem and no answer or hint of a fix. And yes I have not paid proper attention to the age of a post before. Thought it had last reply the day before. Failed to...
After having a friend have a issue of there parking brake cable glowing when cranking, I have added extra ground wires around the motor mounts to frame. Hard to see and also works well. When I had the battery in the trunk ran extra cable to transmission ear near starter. That one is harder to...
I did run the cast iron 2x4 383 using 2 400cfm Carters with electric chokes on both along with a progressive throttle. Did have to make my own baseplate from a Hemi 2x4 base modified to fit out of fiberglass. That intake got 2 mpg better then the best 4 barrel attempts. It also had the very best...
