    I have never used any gasket goop on my valve covers and works fine if properly torqued down, the Leak is probably gasket goop

    Knife edge the crank and get the moving parts raha ended and get an oil accumulater so you can keep the engine primed, should get a few more 100,000 miles out of doing this

    Sounds like the crank shaft piolet bearing?? Or it might have been an automatic and the engine is not balanced with the flywheel?? Like the1975 440 auto can't be with flywheel because of external balance??
