I have the 1.03 bars from PST installed, still have not drove it and a deal came up for a set of 1.14 bars from Bergman so I bought those. I have the World block Hemi and I think the stiffer bars will help with the much heavier engine. Someday I hope to drive it. Tim
So I am in the process of cleaning up the instrument cluster on my 68 Charger, the white paint that is on the body of the cluster is peeling, should I media blast it, prime and paint it? Is it a satin paint or flat or gloss. Thanks, Tim
572 Hemi with a world block, which is super heavy, I dont know the spring rates, they just work. The A-bodies are shorter so they are stiffer than the Charger.
You may find that crimped connections may work better than soldered. Sometimes a soldered connection will break just outside the joint because the wires cannot flex like a crimped joint. I also clean every soldered joint with isopropyl because flux is corrosive. You can buy the relay connectors...
Al Debevec can convert a stock K frame to Hemi mounts. He even modified a mount for my Racepumps 2000 mechanical pump and the price was not bad. I went with the Borgenson torsion bars and I cant remember who made my control arms. I still have to get shocks but I am thinking the Fox shocks. Tim
