My intact top frame, bad vinyl, needs to be reinstalled on my now painted body, solo. Anybody done this already? Any thoughts on how? My instinct says put four hooks in the garage rafters tie it up in the air on nylon straps and back the body under it?

The spinner wheel covers are very rare items. You might want aftermarket Magnums for daily use. Be a shame to lose a spinner at 70 mph and break the set.
Yes we’re all assuming he has a bone stock all original 1969 440. What he’s got may differ. Who knows what mods or repairs have been done in 51 years. Might not be the numbers matching engine, could be a service replacement and who knows what heads are on it. It might already have hardened...
Lots of good info. Question what is the source of your temperature readings u say are high? The dash gauge? I’d get a non contact thermometer, mentioned somewhere in comments, and check the actual temperature of the coolant first. Maybe the problem is the gauge. Did anyone mention cleaning...
