Should the lower radiator hose have a metal spring in it on a 1973 RR with a 400 and A/C? Also, what's the best way to get leverage on the alternator to tighten up the A/C - alternator belts?

Does anyone know the correct black paint color (satin?) and who makes the paint for this particular radiator and year? Would a same year A/C compressor be the same type of black color?

73 RR with a 400 with 22.5K original miles.

Engine runs strong and doesn't use excessive oil and no smoke out the pipes. Oil pressure is good. Just thought it was odd the vapor actually chuggs some out of the disconnected breather. I thought it needed to be sucked in by the air cleaner and not blow out on its own. Could PCV valve...

I have a '73 RR with a 400 with the same original breather. I get some vapor chugging out the hose when disconnected from the air cleaner. Is this normal?

I have a 73 RR with the original choke control unit with 2 wires going to it. Is there a trick to getting the 2 wire connectors to "unplug" from the unit? They are loose but I can't get them to come off without breaking stuff. Thanks for your advice.
