I the speedo works then you spin the valve down by the trans. I just need to figure out why it isn't picking up the signal from the trans output.

I left the housing in the transmission, all I did was unscrew the throttle cable (big nut in the side of the trans). I left the unit with gears in the tranny. The speedometer and odometer are not working now.

Ok, if that came out would that mean that the speedometer would not work either then?

Yea, Went with hookers because I didn't have the money for TTI and the rest of the exhaust on the car was already set up for the old hookers that were in it.

I do have plans to do a heat wrap on it eventually. Pretty sure the major issue was that hooker headers basically sat on the starter.

Well, the new starter is in after about 12 hours of work, don't want to have to do that again.....

I honestly don't know. I do know that i had to buy a firecore distributor because edelbrock advertised a stock distributor wouldn't fit. I don't thing they are any taller, just possibly a bit wider.

Already have bolts, the car has edelbrock heads on it.
