    Indy 400-15 tunnel ram

Only thing i can say to that is the Indy t ram is very heavy and with both carbs plus linkage is probably around 40#. I have been told the T ram also like a bit different setup for racing, like higher stall verts and low gears. Back in the day when these t rams came on the scene, 4 speeds and...

That is nice to know. I have BLP 950's for my 572, i may want something bigger for it.

Yes, 511, magna fuel 300 matching regulator, all -10 hose accept reg to carb it -6. Enderle linkage, BLP billet 650's. I think they are 1 11/16 blades with 1.320 venturi. I would have to ask Dom@ThumperCarbs to be sure. I have a pair of his BLP billet 950's for my 572 Hemi that i would like to...

    Indy 400-15 tunnel ram

Wasn't aware anyone was banned. Not sure how to take your post, but yes, i had the T ram running great first season. Cold engine, one pump, hit the button, fires up and idles. Warm engine, no pump, hit the button, starts and idles. Does not go rich once warmed up. Can idle all day and not...

    Indy 400-15 tunnel ram

The Indy T ram works very nicely. Heavy, yes, but it works great with twin 650 billet BLP carbs.

66 Coronet with fresh 512 finally finished

Thank you and nice looking ride. Really like that color. About the rear seal. When i built my 511 i clocked that rear seal to 12 and 6 o'clock, used plenty of black RTV. The seal did not leak a drop first season, but has leaked ever since. What is the trick to get those sealed for good.

    OIL SLINGER

I left the slinger out this time. I still can't explain why the slinger was an issue with the roller cam, but not the flat tappet. The only thing i changed was the cam and added a button. I use a Molnar crank and ATI damper. Could be similar issue as mentioned above, but my wear only went...

How much carb is too much carb

I agree. When you start changing high and low speed air bleeds or moving emulsion around and drilling IFR's , you really learn what's going on. I ran a 1150 Dominator 2 circuit on the street on a 511 and it ran flawlessly. Easy starts, long idling times and no hiccups of any kind. If a carb...

How much carb is too much carb

Wont idle and pops thru carb is a lean indication. Vac leak or poor fuel transition first to check. Make sure timing is correct before you do anything.

How much carb is too much carb

I agree. Retarded cam timing or ignition timing. After getting the carb mix screws set correct and i like to do it with a vac gauge. Turn them out 1/8 turn each til you get max vacuum in drive. I would start with the mix screws at 1.5 turns out. Make sure the pumps are set to immediately squirt...

    OIL SLINGER

Yes, I have the same wear pattern, but mine only half way around. I think its from cam walk. I did not have it when i used a flat tappit. It recently showed up after using a roller cam.

    TF 270 512 dragstrip results.

If that is the conversion, then that is a bunch. Why would they build a track on a hill? I thought my track was bad at 1 or 2 meters down. I would sure love to run that track. Get my 9 sec paper trophy for sure.

    TF 270 512 dragstrip results.

Looks like you have 313M at the start and 306M at the finish. Lapeer dragway is 254M start and 253M finish. Mid Michigan is a bit different from last i checked. 288M start and 286M finish. Anyone can check this on google earth.
