    Option question for a RR

Sounds like you have 68 scoops in your hood, or possibly a 68 hood altogether. Not aware of the lower rocker trim on a RR. Maybe its a Sat. with a RR hood/ & emblems What are the first 5-6 #'s of the VIN?

    Installing windshield trip clips

The windshield comes riight out, and if you go to a pro, they should be able to save your glass. PPG makes a good replacement windsheild. I bought one and tried to do it myself. I of course broke it. Seems like the glass is about 110.00 anb the new gasket was like 90.00 I called a pro and he...

440 with 7qt pan - high volume oil pump or no?

I just freshened mine up. Added a 10.10 forged crank, heads reworked, new cam, lifters, rings and timing chain. I didn't change the cam bearings. It runs like a top on pump gas! Idles at about 35 PSI on the gage when it's hot.

440 with 7qt pan - high volume oil pump or no?

I put a HV pump on my 77 440 with a 7 qt pan. I'm happy I did but I don't really have any data to back up why I did it. Pump was the same price was the likely deciding factor!! :)

    What are the differences???

I think the base model had no fancy trim packages and a 318, and the sport was a 383 car with a few more trim optoins. If memory serves.... the Belvedere was the lowest base model, then was the Satellite, Sport Satellite, Roadrunner, the GTX was at the top of the line until the Superbird in 70.

    Installing windshield trip clips

Yes the clips are installed with screws. I don't know if they could be installed with the glass still in. I had to drill out sevreal of the screws due to the heads being too rusty to get a bite on. I suppose you can try it.

    Rear end ????

Seems like I remember seeing an ad in somwhere and Strange is offering a complete Dana style rearend for a really reasonable price. Just bolt in and go. I'm sure it's less that I paid for the original B body dana under my car. Seems like 1700 is the price sticking in my head for some reason...

    Rear end ????

I think that if you use a truck rearend, you have to use diffrent axle flanges and get passenger car brakes....I can't remember for sure.....
