Sounds like you have 68 scoops in your hood, or possibly a 68 hood altogether.
Not aware of the lower rocker trim on a RR. Maybe its a Sat. with a RR hood/ & emblems

The windshield comes riight out, and if you go to a pro, they should be able to save your glass.
PPG makes a good replacement windsheild. I bought one and tried to do it myself. I of course broke it. Seems like the glass is about 110.00 anb the new gasket was like 90.00

I just freshened mine up.
Added a 10.10 forged crank, heads reworked, new cam, lifters, rings and timing chain.
I didn't change the cam bearings. It runs like a top on pump gas!
Idles at about 35 PSI on the gage when it's hot.
I put a HV pump on my 77 440 with a 7 qt pan.
I'm happy I did but I don't really have any data to back up why I did it.
Pump was the same price was the likely deciding factor!! :)
I think the base model had no fancy trim packages and a 318, and the sport was a 383 car with a few more trim optoins.
If memory serves.... the Belvedere was the lowest base model, then was the Satellite, Sport Satellite, Roadrunner, the GTX was at the top of the line until the Superbird in 70.
Yes the clips are installed with screws. I don't know if they could be installed with the glass still in. I had to drill out sevreal of the screws due to the heads being too rusty to get a bite on. I suppose you can try it.
Seems like I remember seeing an ad in somwhere and Strange is offering a complete Dana style rearend for a really reasonable price. Just bolt in and go.
