    AR engineering timing cover

    Well for me the bolts were fine just 4 of the washers didn't fit anything. Which is not a big deal at all. I was trying to set the camshaft end play. Unfortunately, I ground a little too much off the button and my end play is 0.025". I called Summit and they won't have more buttons in stock...

    Just to be clear. I am not knocking Andy's timing cover. Quite the contrary. It is a very well made, well designed cover. I am happy I bought it. I am just trying to get this engine put together correctly the first time.

    I just purchased this timing cover. It just arrived a few days ago. My first impressions are that it is very well made and seems very strong. I was just reading the instructions and it says if you are using the factory cast-iron water pump housing you will have to grind some of housing to clear...
