Many thanks 33 IMP. That makes a lot of sense to me. Are you able to help me weigh up the pros/cons of a 9:1 400 engine vs. a stroked 400? Recognize that cost will be one, but I wonder whether it is one of those exercises where once you have started you might as well do what is best as it is all...
Thanks all. The advice is much appreciated. My car came with a 400 engine but the earlier cars had 383s. Preference is to keep as much stock as possible but liven her up a little!
