Can anyone tell me where to find out exactly how many of the ram charger hoods was made for the Chargers? I would like to know just how rare my hood is .They was only available in 71 and the specs I looked at said they only sold 362 R/Ts and Super Bees that had 440's or 440 six packs or Hemi's...

Thanks for the responses but I just found and bought a complete running 375 hp 440 out of a 68 newyorker . I passed on the motor home motors after talking to a local motorhead he said they just had torque and not much compression and horse power . Only 8 to 1 compression. Same blocks but crank...

Cant answer that question but wouldnt think it would be a big deal . I bought a original 71 ram charger hood and have about 80% of the under side parts and still probably have to spend around $1200.00 on buying the 20% of stuff I dont have and the air cleaner base . I thought I got a good deal...

What is the difference in a 440 motor home motor and a car 440? Should I stay clear of them or do they take minor changes to get the performance? Keep in mind Im a newbee just learning and I want to get into a 44o for my Charger as cheap as I can and with the least work .

I put 72 hide aways in a 74 grill but there were a few mods and problems but not impossible. I posted a thread about hideaway headlight motor repairs I did and also talked about the problems I ran into and what to do ......but to answer your question yes they fit.
