1969 Dodge Superbee found in garage

I think BS also. Medical bills, credit card debts and anything else that a cosigner hasn't committed to go away upon death. The reason stated for selling doesn't add up. Anybody who thinks they can get a deal on this car better check their expectations. It's probably already in someone...

Have to install electric fuel pump 68 gtx. WHERE DO I START ?

This might sound strange, but first I'd make sure the starter is up to spec. After several years of struggling with slow starts and blaming it on fuel quality, I was ready to install an electric pump in my 69 GTX. It typically was taking 20 - 25 seconds of grinding before getting gas to the...

    1969 sport satellite 383/4 4spd survivors

I took delivery of a new 69 Sport Satellite hdtp in June of that year. I special ordered it a month earlier pretty much loaded with 383, auto, A/C, console, 6-way seat, light pkg w/ deleted fender lights, Alpine white paint with black bucket seats & black vinyl top, stripe delete. Maybe a few...

    69 gtx fender tag decoding

I have a nearly identical 69 GTX, also in F3 green. The other codes on that line are P6G, not P66, which refers to Ivy Green bucket seats and F8, which is the color of the upper door frames, also Ivy Green Metallic. Again, same as mine, however, it's a 4-speed Track Pack car.

    1969 Sport Satellite Dream Realized

Very nice. My first new car was a 69 Sport Satellite 383 auto, console, A/C, white with black vinyl top & black bucket interior, etc. Special ordered it when in college from a dealer in KS. It too was a great car and the one I would most like to get back. In the seven years I owned it I...

    69 GTX pinstripe question.....

The Scotchcal I used is part no. 79901, which they refer to as white (slvr). It has a very slight silver tint when not lit, but reflective white when lit. It appeared to be exactly the same as sold in kit form by vendors. - - - Updated - - - Forgot to add that the reason I know it's the same...

    69 GTX pinstripe question.....

I used 3M reflective tape on my 69 as mentioned in the above book excerpt. It's still available at paint shops under the name Scotchcal striping tape and is 1/4" wide. My car came with white stripes, but I know it's available in red also. It is the same material sold by vendors, only much...

Ill Fitting Door Glass on 69 GTX

First, I want to report that I got my 69 GTX back today from having its door glass replaced a second time (both times by professionals) with ECS supplied panes. The new replacements fit fine and I am satisfied with them. With the old glass out I was able to verify the...

Ill Fitting Door Glass on 69 GTX

Everbody just take a deep breath, okay? My GTX is currently at a professional glass shop getting it's door glass replaced. I'll report how it went when I get my car back. But I will say the shop owner noticed the horizontal curve right off the bat.ECS is welcome to have my old glass back, if...

Ill Fitting Door Glass on 69 GTX

I challenge ECS to point out a single lie or half-truth in either of my postings regarding the glass I purchased from them. I understand (and have made it clear to them) my failure to report the problem in a timely manner made it difficult to achieve a satisfactory resolution to the problem...
