Nice to see another GTX coming together. Mine is RalleyRed with white interior & black top. It had very nice legendary black seat covers in it when I bought it, so its staying black for now. Tell me more about your GTX.

    Radiator value ... help please

It appears to be for a 65 C-body 383 4v auto car. Since this style was used in many A/B-bodies up to 69 (round tank), I wouldn't throw it away. Scrap is down and wouldn't be much in return. You may post it on the C-body forum.

    Tide (proctor & gamble) Superbird?

@moparedtn: I had no idea of it until about 15 years ago, when I met Dub Clenny, out of Mt. Ida, Arkansas. He had the story on it and I remember the lingo of Romeo from Super Go, and it turned out to be a neat story. Quite the character and car collector, Dub was. At the time I met him, he...

    Tide (proctor & gamble) Superbird?

A buddy of mine is restoring his Superbird, and the seller("Dub") who sold it to him always claimed it was the Tide Superbird. We've talked to the previous owner who had done the restoration back in the late 80's/early 90's, ....that when he sold to Dub, he was told the same thing. Turns...

    Tide (proctor & gamble) Superbird?

Does or has anyone ever heard of of PG using a Superbird as a promotional car for Tide back in the day? Potentially in the Tennessee (southern states) area? Thanks Chris

Help with tire/wheel fitment 1971 Satellite

I did this to my 71 Roadrunner...and GTX. Bought 2 sets of 15/7 TTO's. Was experimenting and tried a 15x8.5 TTO, and it was just too wide for me. Needed more offset. In the end, on the RR, I went with 225/70s front & 255/70s rear. On the GTX, 235/60s & 255/60s I like the 70 series better...
