Is a 78 drivers side door a direct replacement for a 76? I would like to replace mine which has some rust issues, and I have a bead on a 78 in good shape. As always, any help is appreciated. Thanks Joe

I did it with power seats from another Cordoba. It was actually pretty easy once you get the wiring down. I actually used the electrical manual for a 77 Cordoba as the wiring diagrams were easier to understand.

Looking to replace the battery tray in my 76 Cordoba. Is this tray the same as in any other mopar year or body type? Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you checked your timing chain? A loose chain can cause rough idle. I believe those vintage chain sprockets were coated with vinyl and overtime, they can break down and cause slippage throwing your timing out of wack. Just a thought. BTW, I have a 76 Cordoba with a 400 also.

I did this today as well as installed a new fuel filter (though the old filter showed no signs of crud in it). One or the other seemed to help, as she fired up again and has been running fine ever since. Thanks all!

The guy I bought it from drove it up to me on the trailer. It has been running well for two and a half years since I bought it.

I am planning on doing some brake work on my Cordoba and was wondering the best jack placement and Jack stand placement. I don't think using the bumper jack is a good idea. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome! I have a 76 Cordoba. There are lot's of similarities between the 75-79 Cordoba/Chargers/Magnum/300, so as said above. The 75-79 section is pretty active and has lots of helpful folks!

I need to replace my dual fuel/oil pressure gauge in my 76 cordoba, will a similar gauge from a 71 to 74 charger work as a replacement? there are a number of them on ebay and they aren't as pricey as the 76-79 versions that would be an exact match for mine. Any help is appreciated.
