I wish I had more resources to apply to my growing interests in mentoring. And even philanthropy.
I don't know if these growing interests are due to growing age? But I bet there is a connection.
I've had better luck with Hoosier. (as well as lighter on pocket book) Than either Goodyear or M/Ts. I believe Goodyear is probably the best performer, but didn't last as long.

Damn. I just watched Blues Brother. One of the buzz was Belushi and Aykroyd were successful with Blues Brothers because they actually had real solid band in support.
RIP.
My Sr in high school car. A $200 GTO. 389 4-Speed. I put in a clutch. A rear-end. Upgraded intake and carb. And that car awoke. I terrorized the rich kids late 70s Trans Ams and Cameros. I beat that car into the ground.
I've never owned another. But I do catch myself entertaining the idea. My...

Mopars 1st
Pontiacs 2nd
It's almost automatic in my search and monitoring efforts. Probably because my Sr in high school car was a '66 GTO. My college cars were 1st a '68 Sport Satellite. Then '69 GTX. (The Mopars were a better build quality in my opinion than the Pontiacs.)
And that's always...
We lost our mother in law last night. She was the eldest, but also the last of the "Silent Generation." She was just short of 95. So now it's up to us late Boomers and GenX.
This life is going WAY too fast.
Currently? $55/hr base if employed who pays 1/2 SSA, bulk of health insurance, and overhead. $55/hr x 2 if as subcontractor. $55/hr x3 as general contract.
Of course this is VERY fluid depending on circumstances. (And current NEED) But it's at least my measuring stick.
