Magnumguy, it's very unlikely that I'd remove the top. I just had it put on this past summer. Plus it's unique, so far haven't seen another one like it.

There is a small line from the tank that is a vent line that went to the charcoal canister in the engine bay. You need to be careful where you terminate that one as it can be giving off vapors. Keep clear of any potential ignition source.
