I cleaned up my original sending unit and replaced the float and filter. Thing is the filter is a little loose on the intake tube. Any suggestions on snugging it up? And how far does it need to be on the intake tube?
thank you
I need a new gas tank and sending unit for my 71 valiant. I'm looking at a Classic tank but I'm not finding a sender that looks identical to the one I removed, if that makes a difference. Is there a good source for a sending unit that is a plug and play that will work with my valiant?
thank you
There is a flat surface just above where the oil pan bolts to. I think it's on the passenger side. on a auto trany it's just above the pan on the drivers and on the drivers side of a 4 spd.
OK
I'll have to see what it'll cost here in ND. A friend, a specialist here built my 340 back in 1972. I want him to work on my blocks before he retires.
