Where did you get the idea that the heat riser was blocked off? I had said that the exhaust was coming out of the passenger side? If the heat riser was blocked there would be nothing coming out of the passenger side!

YES you were the first one to respond all right, where did you get the idea that the heat riser was blocked off? I had said that the exhaust was coming out of the passenger side? If the heat riser was blocked there would be nothing coming out of the passenger side!
Duh, I stated that the exhaust was coming out strongly on the passenger side. Anyone that has worked on a Mopar V-8 would know that the heat riser is on the passenger side.
I solved the problem if you read futher down. At least you are honest when you say you are not very experienced. Some of the "help" that I got was actually comical!
Where did you get the idea that the heat riser is stuck closed? There isn't even a heat riser on the manifold, read my post again. I solved the problem.
UPDATE: I took the D/side valve cover off and here's what I found!
Seven of the pushrods and lifters were laying in the valley close to the holes they came out of so I am not worried that I put them back in the wrong holes. I flipped up 3 of the rockers before I took this pic. The only thing...
The heat Riser isn't in the passenger manifold anymore it was all rusted out and the shafts we're worn out so I removed it and welded the holes shut that the shaft went thru. This extra info is for those of you that have never done this or worked on a motor.
