It’s an Atomic 2, I’ll look through the parts more closely. The instructions don’t mention any hardware, just “you may be able to reuse the stock throttle stud”.
What do I need to connect the throttle cable end to the EFI/Carb linkage? I made this little bolt stud for my carb and it worked for years, but I want to do it right on the EFI. I bought this little stud kit which looks kind of right but doesn’t fit the throttle cable end.
Today I checked what 12v source my MSD box is running off of and traced it back to just one side of the ballast. So I checked the voltage on the ballast and it's about 11V on BOTH sides with the key in the RUN position but motor off. Does that mean that the professional mechanic who installed...
Man I'm so confused about the ballast resistor. My car has had full MSD (coil, box, wires, dizzy) forever and the ballast has always been there. Very conflicting info online on whether it should be there, even from MSD. Should I bypass it? Seems like it hasn't hurt to keep it on. If I don't...
I still have not seen this answered clearly. If using a modern electronic ignition (coil, box and distributor) should a ballast resistor (stock or aftermarket) be used.
