I sold one a few months ago that I thought was for all Bs. The guy calls me and says it won't fit his Charger. I have the old parts books and sure enough.... Charger is different. The box and the outlet grille.
It almost sounds as if wires in the gauge c-board plug have somehow gotten switched?
And just for grins... have you tried swapping in a different, or old ivr? I know this one is new, but you never know.
The original owner couldn't remember why. His memory is going.
I could see that the radiator top tank was leaking. That COULD be why?
In his garage was a box with power steering components, and another box with power brakes. It could be that he was going to add both but gave up.
Yes, factory. Pasqual (the original owner) ordered it that way. Manual steering, manual brakes.
When I asked the original owner "426, 4 speed and nothing else except power windows?" he told me "I didn't like reaching across to roll down the windows". Made perfect sense to me!
