Got the Roadrunner running and driving good. Everything is coming together kinda fast. Even took out the signal light package out of the back of the hood and rebuilt it. Used clear LED light bulbs. Got the new carpet and seats in and washed the car to take on a drive. Closed the passenger door...

Thanks for those pictures of the 383 air cleaner. I ordered those decals and applied them already. Looks good. I routed my plug wires over the top of the valve covers but see most pictures, it shows them routed in front of the head and then back. Is that preferred? I installed the new carpet...

It has a front bench seat. I looked under it and didn't see it. I'm going to remove the seat and look better this week. - - - Updated - - - What would be the correct graphics to be on the air cleaner when on a 1970 838 roadrunner with air grabber hood including Performance hood treatment?

Thanks Patrick66 for that info. Well no wonder the car has less than 100,000 miles on it. It spent all it's time in the shop getting parts swapped on and off the car. This really makes it easier from here on. I don't have to think about finding correct parts to keep it original now.-- So -HERE...

I'm enjoying this. Some day I'll have all the part numbers identified+know what they came from. Maybe.Whats interesting is the guy I bought it from has owned it since the mid 70"s. He is no way mechanically inclined. He did nothing to it. I ask if it was the original ENGINE. He said he thought...

The trans is a 833 4 speed. I read pp8332876 as new process 833 also built in 69. I know were past believing ( still hoping though) they are borne with.--BUT-- didn't Production of the 70 model end in Dec. 1969? Mine was made in Nov of 69 so shouldn't part numbers be dated 1969?? Trans...

Thanks guys for your support. So we now know it is a Dana 60 but rare if born with. I read where the Hemi and 440 could have this as an option. Found something else confusing. It has Disk Brakes up front. They look stock not aftermarket. Do these have ID numbers on them????

Thanks for that info. I assume it's a Dana 60. The cast # on the rear of the diff. is C34155 and below that is a 60. On the passenger axle tube is 877B and 602957 1. Driver side has 6 leaf springs and passenger has 7 I am more concerned with the engine stamp on the passenger side just rear...
