I ended up with a chrysler 200 console...
has a nice spot for gauges, usb, and 2 12v power ports. same exact width as my stock 68 console. I'm sure some trimming will be required and I'll have to get creative with shifter, but overall it should be a close fit.

ahhh...see, the magnum one I found a pic of didn't have that super deluxe command bezel that goes to the dash....hmm..
as for the intrepid, that's on my list of possibilities. 1st pic is an LHS console, which is very close to intrepid. 2nd one is Nissan Altima
My 68 already has late model Sebring seats in it.* i want to change out my original 68 console for something that looks better, has cup holders, functional arm rest (high). id also like it to kick up in the front to meet the bottom of the dash.* i like that look and it could house an aftermarket...

you can mount between tank and engine. the idea is install a high vol low press pump in tank (to your stock sender in your case) to feed...
James, while not the news I wanted to hear, thanks so much for responding to this. This is the kind of thing people remember...the fact that a manufacturer took the time to look into something that a forum member wasn't having any luck on.
Got my Hellwig bar in mail as promised, will install tomorrow night or over weekend. Also decided to go with Firm Feel Torsion bars. The potential cost savings on the questionable pst bars didn't seem to add up to me. I talked to Dennis over there and told him my goals for the car, what I had...
440. Iron heads, iron hp exh manifolds, aluminim intake, power steering, aluminum rad. Not sure what bars are in there now. I put them in well over 10 years ago. I got them from mancini and remember wanting "stock spec" R/T bars as I was changing out the original 318 for the 440.
My 68 Charger is pretty low in the front... Is that the only issue with these? that they lower the car alot? if so maybe they are the right product for me... thoughts?
I already have the hotchkis rear leafs installed and plan to add bigger Tbars, FF tubular UCA's, LCA stiffening plates, ADJ...
those are just test fit, I still have to cut the hole for the seatbelt. I didn't dye the belts and I might not. I have the drivers seat in the car, but it's gotta come out because I'm changing the carpet and also sound deadening with some Ramaat and home made lizard skin: long story lol... so...
The last two pics are of the covers I got for them. they slip over the factory covers. I wanted to put factory black covers on but they are huge money, I've seen them for 6-800. I got these from a place called iggees of ebay. 179 with free shipping. Not leather, but neither is the rest of...
Been working on them some more. drivers seat done, have to add gussets and trim pass seat, then grind. I didn't bead roll, but we did gusset the front of the bracket (tall, the rear of brackets is short so I don't think it needs the extra bracing)
also cut some curves in the bracket to make it...
