Kinda like a billet front drum in a 727. It’ll save you some pain. I’ve had a front drum failure. It’s like an IED under the car.

For the restoration crowd who like to drive their cars. Would a billet flywheel serve the same? My X has a Lakewood but would rather not modify the road runner.

The car came with a four barrel aluminum manifold when I bought it years ago. I bought another six barrel with a November date code back then. I found a proper manifold since but still have later carbs.

I'll have to research that. I never delved into the numbers that deep.

My ragtop was built August 27, 69. It's a Vcode road runner. I would love to find a set of early date coded carbs. Even decent cores!
