Which would you buy? 1968 Dart GTS 340 or a 1972 Charger 318 CI auto trans?

How about a '73 440 Charger instead? Putting up a "Plain Jane" 318 Charger against a GTS is a bit unfair IMHO. Those big B-Bodies need a Big Block to move them. No wonder it's 92% in favor of the GTS...

    Cylinder Heads

Seems like a pretty good deal, might even be worth the extra $200 to get the valves, springs, etc. put in (unless you're super-picky). Now at $535 you're not too far from the $995 aluminum Stealth heads. I guess it depends what you want to do , maybe put the $$ instead into a good hot cam and...

    '74 Charger

Car is gone, I should know I bought it. Kid has left the ad up anyway. It's a good "driver" 318 car, truly rust-free from California (still had the tags in the trunk). Currently bolting on a new bumper and replacing the tranny...

    '67 vs. '68 Coronet Interiors

Gentlemen, Thanks for the info. 69 Runner you're right about the need for a split-bench seat vs. the 4-door single back but I was not aware as YY1 pointed out that the windshield was taller (plus the A-pillars etc.) on the 4-door vs. 2 door. Definitely makes me pause about this plan of attack...

    '67 vs. '68 Coronet Interiors

Hi Guys, I just bought another mopar project/orphan, a '68 2-door Coronet. Surprisingly rust-free alas it has basically no interior. I have a line on a '67 4-door that looks to be pretty complete. My question is, aside from the door panels, will the rest bolt in ok? I'm looking at building a...

    440 engine build

I too own a '71 Charger and empathize that they need a stout big-block to get all that weight moving. Check out 440Source.com, they've got some great info and their "Stealth" Aluminum heads are tough to beat for the price if you decide to go aluminum. I would put in a Comp Cam, an Eddy Performer...
