I am not sure this is posted in the right place but I am looking for a windshield to replace mine and a new driver's side glass for my 72. Any interchangable parts form other cars would be appreicated. Thanks, Joseph

I did buy a new starter but it was only $15 so it was worth the inssurance.

I didn't have to mess with the push button. I'm thinking it may have been where the postive battery connector and the cable meet. I took the old one off and cleaned up the splice and installed a new connector. I wrenched to on as tight as I could and it seemed to make before contact.

Yeah it did. Well that's one problem done. Time to move onto the I.interior. :hello2:

Well here's some good news. I had some time to work on the coronet today after school. I disconnected, cleaned, and reconnect every ground and power wire I could find. After all of that, it started right up.

I have not had a chance to check out the ground strap. I was told by the guy I bought it from that the previsous owner said that the NSS was possibly not working hence the by pass with the push button. I have not thought about since that button had seemed to fix that issue. I must admit that I...

No it does not seem to matter which side I disconnect.

It did the same thing when I jumped the solenoid.

I have vertied that the battery is putting out 12.33v at 1233cca.

I have a feeling that the ground strap to the frame has come loose somehow. Do u guys happen to know where should be to help narrow down my search.

Been there, done that

I tested both the old starter and this new starter on our tester at work. The old starter even kicked over when I tested it. The selnoid was a little loose so I decided to replace it since it was inexpensive.

I just changed the starter relay. It did the same as before. I then removed and replaced the battery cables and tried to jump the starter. The starter sparked and then I heard a click and everything went dead again.

I checked the starter when I bought it. I work for Advance Auto so its not problem to check before hand. I am going to jump the starter tomorrow when I go work on it again. The only relay I see is the fusible link. Is there another one for the starter on this car? - - - Updated - - - Nevermind...
