After taking out the dash I am cleaning all the contacts. On the voltage regulator should I have continuity on all three legs? Or how do I determine the regulator is no good? What does it drop the voltage down to? I have continuity between the gauge and the sending unit. Also checked the Temp...

Gas gauge never worked since I bought the car. Put ground to the actual tank, nothing happens. Checked for voltage at the sending unit, found nothing. Checked all 5 fuses in the glovebox, all good. Checked from the tabs. Found the circuit board behind instruments, now what?

Turns out there is a pinhole on the top of the tank just near the drivers side. Now the search got a new one starts. After grounding the sending unit it still doesn't work. What do I need to look at with the dash?

Already replaced the O ring. Still leaks. Is there anything on top of the gas tank? A vent or anything that gas will leak out from? Seems to pour right off the top of the tank. Thanks for the info about the sending unit. I'll check that out tomorrow.

The 440 in my Road Runner just started leaking from what looks like the crossover section. Exhaust will come out on the pass. side of the intake toward the Carb.. I assume it's blown gasket? Which gasket should I use to eliminate this? Only thing I know of the intake is it says Mopar on it and...

Yes, when I fill it right up it leaks from the top of the tank. Looked at the seam on the side and it's okay. Not leaking from the sending unit as well. The sending unit also doesn't work. So I never know how much is in it. Any ideas? What else can I look for? I'm about to drop the tank and...

Found this through searching about my starter issues. Will these starters fit with headers? Trying to one on my 69 Runner and it hits the header.

The OEM starter on my 69 440 Runner went kaput recently. A friend recommended to put in one from a 2000 Dodge 1500 360 pickup. Fits beautifully, sounds great and its lighter. Only trouble is when I put the header back on its interfering with the starter and won't go on. Has anyone got any ideas?
