    Thanks--that sounds like a logical place to start, I only hope separating the gasket from the metal doesn't ruin the gasket. :thumbsup:

    This is a cry for help to those who've got more experience than I: Can anyone tell me how to sperate the bulb housings from the outer structural frame of the tail light on the 63 Polara 500? I already know how to unbolt the frame from the body but i need to replace a lens and cannot do so...
