Well as they say check the easy things first— I did not have 1004 dual contact bulbs in the convertible courtesy lights so is was backfeeding power... thank you guys

Yes I am checking that but this is a brand new dash harness and the interior is not in yet so I can see that there are no screws or anything rubbing

Yes all on fused side the red wire with white stripe is the only thing on the supply side—this is how it came brand new from m and h— no alterations except I plugged the map light connector in which is functioning normally with door switches
