It may look like that in this picture, but in the movie you can see the whole back panel and it sure looks like the whole thing is white. If not aomething the factory ever did.... Someone did it on their own. Don't get me wrong... Not something I would ever do. Just have never seen that before.

I have the same issue on my Barracuda. I replaced the fronts after buying because the previous owner hadn't rebuilt the front suspension and wore the inner edges off the front tires. Weird thing is the old original 245/60-14 on the rear stay white and nice. The new 225/60-14 in front turn brown...
