Wow. The float was gone. I have a 75 Fury which has been stored in a dry garage for years. The gas tank was very rusted, so I had it cleaned out and sealed and I reinstalled it in the car. I didn't drive the car, only ran it occasionally, got busy and left it sitting there, about 8 years...
