This sounds like a 66 Belvedere II? Should you discover a gas cap in your pile, I would take it.

Carpet is a bit dirty from the years but I hope it helps.

My 66 Belvedere has original green carpet in it. Not sure if that would be the same as your 68. I can grab some pics tomorrow in the daylight if it would help you.

Unfortunately can’t make it this time. I love that show though. Took my wife’s 71 Javelin once back in the 90s when they let you drive around the track one loop. That was fun.

Definitely radials. Had bias ply tires on my 66 Belvedere back in the 90s. Took it to 100mph on the freeway once and it was scary. Car felt very unstable. Later swapped to radials, nothing else changed. Took it to 100mph again and it felt like a totally different car. Couldn’t believe the...

I, too, just read this whole thread. Amazing work! Curious, you used Killmat on the roof and Dynamat on the floor. Any reason for using two different products there? I’ve been debating which one to use for my project.
