When I put tires on my Doba I had the shop put 235/70-15 front and 275/60-15 rear installed on factory steel wheels. That will fill up the front wheel wells and level out your ride.

As for the plastic rivets in the dash, I just use needle nose pliers to pull and replace them in the dash. On another subject Jeep used 8 1/4 rears in many models. I believe that they are 27 spline axles all the way to 96, after which they went to the 29 spline axles. On My 77 Cordoba I managed...

Thanks for the complement on the Cordoba. Its still original, paint, interior, and drive train. The tach is factory and the speedo I got from e-bay. I rolled the odometer on the 140 to match the factory speedo, then it was installed.

I don't know what to say, but that was an issue I had on my vehicle after I purchased a new locking STANT gas cap.

Thats a dead ringer for my dash, except for the column shifter. Picked up 2 of those 140 MPH speedo's of e-bay, and yes my tach is factory.

I had the same problem on my 77 Cordoba, after i purchased a locking gas cap. I found that if i put a small cut in the cap seal, that provides enough of a vent to keep the vacuum from occurring.

What style of dash does it have??? Does it have the round gauges or the standard sweeping speedo across the whole dash??? I know the police counterparts came with 140mph speedometers. I have one in each of my 77 Cordobas. Pics. in profile.
