You guys are absolutely correct and I'm only going by their spec sheet. I hope I'm wrong but as I stated, I can't think of any other reason other than a typo on their part.

Well, the spec sheet says that the minimum required bore diameter is 4.320 and a 383 is 4.250. a 400 is 4.340 and a 440 is 4.320. the 4.320 minimum is required because the larger 2.190 intake valves are just big enough to have a clearance problem with the 4.250 bore 383 engine. Stock B-motor...
