I bet it'll ride just fine with that set of KYBs on there, as opposed to spending several hun for Bilst$$ns. I have KYBs on the front of my 70 GTX and it rides just fine.

Man I would have never guessed that white paint doing that good of a job. I've used the fake chrome before and just some silver and it never did what I would consider adequate. I think I'll do the tail lights on my GTX with white and see how it works.

You need to make sure the voltage regulator is getting a good ground. Check it when mounted to make sure it and the engine both have a common ground. You can add some star washers to the mounting bolts to make sure it's grounded to the body or even run a ground wire from the regulator to the engine.
