You got it figured out. Nice job. I was going to say yes the TS switch can stop the brake lights from working as you said it controls the brake/turn lights together.
I was thinking the same thing. If it's Mopar they need to be working on it now so they can be competitive for next year. We'll know if it is when they start making rule changes to make sure it isn't competitive.

Man I would have never guessed that white paint doing that good of a job. I've used the fake chrome before and just some silver and it never did what I would consider adequate. I think I'll do the tail lights on my GTX with white and see how it works.

You need to make sure the voltage regulator is getting a good ground. Check it when mounted to make sure it and the engine both have a common ground. You can add some star washers to the mounting bolts to make sure it's grounded to the body or even run a ground wire from the regulator to the engine.
