Awesome cars, guys! A lot of inspirational stuff on here. I'm getting pretty fired up for the spring and the return of car shows. Here's a couple recent shots of my GTX...Redid the interior 2 years ago, suspension upgrades last year, 440 a few years back, etc. 550hp/570tq. Can't wait for summer...
Absolutely buy the best parts you can and I agree with LemonWedge as well - you could probably get away with a little more cam as long as you get a quality converter matched to the combo.
I run a very similar 446 set up, the primary differences being a 250/258 Erson solid cam, cleaned up...
Super impressive turn out this year, especially considering the inevitable rain. Great show overall. Having a FBBO tent or any organized thing like that would be really cool. Thanks for posting the pics - I see you took a couple shots of my buddies 1 ton red and black dodge. That beast turned...
Hey bud - unfortunately, I never met the guy or gal. I'll probably see the car again this season though (if it ever warms up) and direct them towards this site.
Love your car - can't go wrong with triple black! Well....except the whole "keeping it clean" thing.
As always, awesome cars :headbang: Here are a bunch of pics I just came across from some MN shows and cruise nights from last summer:

And here's where I left off with the GTX last fall...highlights include rebuilt motor, repainted/refreshed engine bay, new air A/G...
No kidding. It's been a gray spring - hopefully this weekend pans out.
Either way it's an awesome show - I'll be there with my GTX. Looking forward to it!
I restored my GTX grill awhile ago - to my understanding, the black section wasn't painted, it was just black plastic. The plastic on my grill was beyond cleaning up, so I used Krylon "Fusion" Satin Black and a generic argent silver for the rest. Krylon's Fusion paint is made specifically to...
Haha I hear ya bud. I was nervous about the sidewall being too tall on mine (both fronts and rears) when I bought them, but they worked out well.
Again, your wheels and tires look awesome...I can't wait to see a '71-'74 Plymouth with the new Rallyes.
Wow...carcrazy I'm a big fan of your new YO Rallye's - they look killer! I'd definitely buy a set if I didn't just buy 17's for mine (or if I wasn't broke).
Like you, I have 50 series Nitto 450's out back on mine - fills up the wheel wells nicely.
My wheels are 17x8 MB Old School's with '0'...
Thought I'd add a little sound for the senses...here's a quick video I shot a few weeks ago when I put the car away for the winter. For those considering a Hughes Whiplash cam, here's another sound clip of one in a 440! Oh and go ahead and ignore the wife's Smartcar in the garage :tied up...
It's about 15 degrees here, so I figured I'd lift my spirits with some car **** when I stumbled upon a bunch of my pics from 2012 Mopars in the Park! I threw in a couple pics from the '12 Carcraft (aka CamaroCraft) Summer Nats here in MN, as well as some shots of my car from my wedding this past...
Ha yeah, I was less than impressed the first time I mocked them up to the fenders. I found it easiest to get the bottom flush to the front valance, and then get the best possible angle on the fender. It took some time, measuring and a few beers, but my buddy and I were able to get them pretty...
Thanks buddy! I'm super biased, but yeah...I dig the stance/look too. You're right - they're 17x8's. The front tires are 235/55/R17's and the rear are 275/50/R17's. 50 series rubber definitely fills up the wheel wells on these cars when running 17's - it almost makes the wheels seem "smaller"...
Awesome cars guys! Here are a couple shots from this summer - A rebuilt 440, new dash pad, dash insert and chin spoilers start the looong list of stuff done this season.
The paint pen method works great - I did the same thing you want to do last winter! I ended up buying another insert on ebay because some of my vents were broken and painted that one...here's a direct comparison with the old dash insert. It's not 100% correct but it looks 100% better :headbang:
