Any companies offer this OE style steel wheel in chrome? Or is my only option to purchase and have chromed? I've only found 'smoothies' and other similar but not exactly what I want.
Hoping to pair some w/ Cragar SS's on the front...
Thanks for any guidance.
I have a 66 hood I put an RO scoop on for my 67. The only thing I had an issue w/ was one of the letters that spells ‘plymouth’ across the front had one of its alignment pins in a slightly different position...enough that I had to fill and redrill before I painted it. I think it was the ‘M’.
Do you have your heart set on a 6 speed? Unless you plan on accelerating in the 130-170 mph range, I find 5th gear in 6 speeds pretty worthless.
I've installed a TKO600 that I pulled out of my old turbocharged Mustang before I sold it, bought a Quicktime bell from Summit, and all clutch...
140 amp should be adequate unless your machine isn't working properly. How thick is the material??? What dia wire are you using?
I have 2x3 rectangular tubing through the floor in my car, not using the floor as the upper flange of the cross section as the Car Tool connectors are designed...
Young gun this and that. Cant afford a BBM? Turbo LS swap = $1500? C’mon man.

Ive used ProM meters in the past on Mustang stuff, but never that system. Id suggest going w/ whatever the guy tuning it recommends since you wont be doing it yourself.
Not at all. Copy and pasting all of that will make a reader roll their eyes and move on to the next post...and doesn’t address the original question directly. Also, the polar moment of inertia is calculated differently for a purely circular cross section and whats effectively a tube...
Google ‘polar moment of inertia’ - there are some images that show different cross sections and how it’s calculated - then ‘torsional stiffness’ to see how it’s applied. Polar moment of inertia is the variable that no ones really mentioned. If you still have questions, lemme know.
Great writeup. I just pieced my TKO600 setup together w/ help from SST as I had the trans sitting around from an old turbo’d Mustang I had done years ago. I’m actually at exactly the same stage as you as of your last post, but have had some distractions the last few months hindering my progress...
