    I used the soft side of industrial velcro and weatherstrip adhesive.. i think kryslerkid here had posted it and it worked great...

    Agree. It's likely not rubbing the spring. My slicks are within 3/8" to the spring, and don't rub. But my car doesn't handle for ship...

    Service/adjust the existing transmission. If it's working properly it will be far from clunky. It's probably already got a 2.76 rear...

    I driven B body convertibles with and without subframe connectors. Connectors help on a H/T. But they really help on a convertible...

    I agree, I think he's okay to the spring, but I think he's worried about the inside lip of the tub. (His top pic).

    not sure why you think those will rub... You have miles of space there.. This is mine and hasn't rubbed at all..

    True, I've got some 17" nittos on one of mine.... but as said above, those are basically drag radials. Not what O.P. is looking for.
