My drivers seat has pretty weak springs though.. it was redone years ago (was DVW's kids seat) and you can put rods sideways across the springs to firm it up, i plan to do it over winter.. praying i can get the seat cover off without ruining it..

yeah... a bench seat and pushbutton were what i had to keep.. also why i went small block which i kinda love, my first one after a lot of big blocks. I do have a spare BB trans case here though if i wanna swap eventually
Soo.. tonight i put resonators after the axle to try to get rid of the raspyness and quiet it a bit more.. it did help a bit.. not as much as i had hoped. I only got the 3.5" ones since i was worried bout space, i should have gone 4" and might over winter.
I am wondering if some turn downs at...
yes... sadly.. it was just too far gone :( really wanted to keep the whole car bone stock but it became a mess. nothing i can't change back though.
The current motor is a 318/trickflows and a howards roller... i have a 360 block at the machinist, might be done before winter...
Also wanted to mention... i decided to try a new soap and the stuff is unreal.. i have tried all the normal gojo and all that.. never had anything work near as well as this..
also primered my front rims finally.. gonna let them sit for a day.. sand and primer again, trying to fill in some crappy spots.. glad i decided to use my spray gun and not cans.. gonna go body color on the front rimes.. i need to find a pair for 9" dog dishes though.. i only have 10s
got some stuff done this morning.. fixed some small exhaust leaks (band clamps... added ultracopper) gonna suck to take apart.. but that's why i have hammers...
Noticed my gas gauge staying near full after driving quite a bit, ran my bore scope into the tank.. but it doesn't have side...
K.. hooker mufflers are nice... car is not too loud at idle now... still crazy raspy at wot which i hate soo much. I think the tailpipes are causing it. I usually run turn downs before the axle.. but went all out the back this time and it's horrible on the gas.
Brakes are still crazy scary, no...
Later input, i looked for months for a 19? spline and gave up.. found a trans for $100 and swapped parts...
Went out and got the passenger exhaust done.. tomorrow the drivers..
Starting to look bad near the muffler, i weld the mufflers to the head pipe, had to cut them off twice now and add...
FTI just called.... Converter is on it's way back.. had it restalled to 3800(ish) from 3200... so now i have a spare.. gonna keep the current 3200 in the car for now and maybe try the 3800 when the new motor is done (no idea when that might be)

Nice, i ended up doing 5* (shoulda went 3-4) and it made a huge difference.. only did one quick run around the neighborhood last weekend but it feels like my vibration is pretty much gone. Dunno how i can do the math and still end up 1-2* off :) but i'm good are redoing things 3 times
