I know that routine well with the international work travel I do.

I have this monied buddy who does crazy things. He bought a very expensive motorhome...a Provost and didn't want to pay the huge registration fee in Az that is tied to the book value. So he bought a house in Montana.

The Daytona jacks are decent for the money. I just bought the very heavy steel 3 ton as my kid keeps taking my two aluminum 2 ton Daytonas. He will have a hard time just picking this one up it is heavy.

I really like that one.

Old enough to retire soon. And the more I work on my cars (and most everything else physical) the older I feel. Takes a day or two for the pain and bleeding to stop. But I still can do it all.

I’ve had a couple chevelles. 69 SS 396 and 70 LS5 454 They look and drive great. Also had a 70 Monte Carlo SS 454 which was a sort of chevelle. But were what always seemed big. So still have my 67 camaro 6.0 LS

A couple years ago I was in Mammoth Ca during the huge snow event. 395 was closed due to flooding on my way out so I detoured through Death Valley and Las Vegas to get back to Phoenix. Spent more than a few hours there. Want to go back.

It’s a great stop in the winter. Summer not so much.

I’ve lived in the west for a long time. We still find new national parks that are just great to visit. Can’t go wrong with Az, Sierra Nevadas in Ca and even New Mexico. The rental RV’s cost about the same as a hotel room so that is that. And don’t go too big on the rental as most NP’s have a...

Man, I remember having to do that all winter. And even the sometimes extreme heat doesn’t hurt like the cold

Waymo’s can get on Phoenix freeways now. I have noticed that nearing the airport if I’m just to the right rear of the Waymo when the right blinker comes on……they won’t speed up or slow down and do miss the exit.
