Made in USA Magnum 500 Wheels?

Ihave set of Made in USA t-thrust wheels. They have become harder and harder to find especially in good sizes for Mopars. I scored a set of 15x8.5 rears and 15x6 front runners. The guy I bought them from when to 18-in Wheels LOL. I felt bad for him.

Sometimes we are cursed, sometimes blessed

Are those Super 7s or 10° locks? I assume it is a 11/32 steel valve? Nice catch! That could have been catastrophic.

Anyone have the old DC 440 "recipes"?

The sign by the door of my shop reads: " it's not our job to make hotrodding affordable" We run a for-profit entity over here not sure how things work in Illinois LOL I wish you luck with your project.

You would want 11-11.5:1 minimum. I'm not sure how that'd work with the TRW pistons. I haven't used a set of those in probably 20 years maybe 25. I don't think PTV would be an issue although it might be pretty close on the exhaust depending on where you install the cam. You can answer most of...

    400 budget build

If you end up using the original pistons ask your machinist if he can angle mill the heads to get more compression. You might end up doing that with aftermarket pistons also depending on where the deck height ends up.

    Dropped a small Allen key.

I have had success using a wet dry vac to suck stuff out of that dark deep hole.

I have a very nice used BB .620 mechanical cam if anyone is interested in running it. This is the newer version that does not use mushroom lifters.

Shout out to @YY1 for always taking time to expand our horizons on the '66 Coronet. My next car to get running is this 383-4 barrel car

Flame thrower coil… seems to be legitimate?

The knock off business is ruthless. I won't buy performance parts off of Amazon or Ebay anymore. I either go straight to the manufacturer, buy it from Summit Racing or go without it.

Is the collector car market finally imploding?

They won't call, they'll text! That said we have many multi-generational families that attend our local drag strip and it is rather heartwarming. I know it's one of my favorite things to do with my own family.

If he has a scale have him weigh it. I can weigh a new unit that came from Summit Racing for reference.
