It's a moderately kept up project car. No major rust except one spot on the trunk. No dents, no bondo. I traded a bass boat for it(which my wife was all for because I can't swim lol). Original LA 318 motor and Torqueflite 904 trans. Same old green thing
So since like May I've been pretty quiet...
Amen! I think 4 door cars are a special kind of Kool. Like how wagons are cool, just not my thing. And muscle sedans are getting extremely rare these days. It makes me imagine the early 70's when these things are just what normal folks had. Now theyre unicorns, but no one really seems to care...
Ive corresponded with Bart about a few things. Hes got alot of knowledge. Beautiful restoration he did too. Im not planning to factory restore mine. Im going to soup it up like the muscle car it is. No matter how many doors it has, its still a Coronet.
Does anyone on here have a built shackled up 4 door? Post pics and information if youve got it. Ive only ever seen one that was built out. A hand full of restorations. But over all very few 4 door Coronets in general. Post em if you got em. Wheres my sedans?
I am having alot of trouble finding information about stock kickdown linkage on a stock 318 LA with a Carter BBD hooked to a torqueflight 904. Its in a 1969 Coronet 440. Does this look right? Other than the missing clip.
Im going to try this tomorrow. This seems like a winner. My wife told me to quit for the day though. Blood pressure is too high lol. I needed to replace the boot before i started, so thats not really the issue, the issue is the two pieces have been together since 1969.
