So I tried to stop the leak at my park cable but now have a bigger problem. I released the cable changed the O ring and put shrink tube on the cable. Put it back together, cable is snapped in. The leak was better but when I moved the car I get a loud clackety clack coming from the trans. Only...

The park cable on my 65 Satellite is leaking like crazy. I got a new gasket and figure I'll try the shrink wrap on the cable. Does anyone know where to get a new O ring for the cable or the size of the O ring?

I used the Griots Garage epoxy 10 years ago and its held up very well.

Done!! After 20 years finally complete. Thanks to everyone here for help on locating the holes for the clips.
